KTR unhappy with Dattatreya’s ouster from Union Cabinet

Hyderabad: IT Minister K. Tarakarama Rao has expressed unhappiness over removal of Bandaru Dattatreya from the Union Cabinet as part of re-shuffle in the cabinet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday.

“Not that he has done anything for Telangana worthy mentioning, taking out even the lone representative in Union Govt out, is not a good sign,” KTR Tweeted without taking the name of Bandaru Dattatreya.

However, he did not reply to various replies to his Tweet where he was questioned whether Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has representation from all 31 districts. Further, he questioned on non-inclusion of a woman in KCR’s cabinet.

In another Tweet, KTR hailed the inclusion of former bureaucrats in the Union Cabinet. “It’s a good sign to enroll bureaucrats who’re experienced & have a good track record. Only caveat is If only they can rise above party lines,” he Tweeted.

In his reply to a Tweet wherein he was asked whether Suresh Prabhu’s adieu to Rail Ministry would help in getting Rail Coach Factory to Telangana, KTR said, “Irrespective of Individuals heading ministries, it’s the bounden duty of Union Govt to keep promises; Bayyaram steel plant, Coach factory etc.,” (INN)
