Dy CM Kadiyam meets President of India

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari met President of India Ramnath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi on Friday.

Kadiyam briefed the President on various welfare schemes being implemented by the State Government. He told that the President that special emphasis was being laid on education and health.

He said more than 500 residential schools have been established across Telangana State and special attention was being paid to girls’ education by setting up residential junior and degree colleges for girls.

The Deputy CM told Ramnath Kovind that the Telangana Government has established 53 residential degrees colleges for women belonging to SC and ST community.

The Deputy CM was accompanied with TRS MP Seetharam Naik. (INN)
