11,432 Candidates Appear for Test BRAOU Eligibility

Hyderabad: As many as 11,432 Candidates appeared for the Dr B.R.Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) Eligibility Test (E.T) today throughout the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh spread over 156 examination centres.

Another interesting feature of this year is that 214 Jail inmates including 6 women prisoners from the various central prisons in the two states have also appeared for the test. Central Prison Cherlapally – 40, Warangal – 39:
Rajamundry – 76, Nellore – 23, and Kadapa – 36.

Prof K.Seetharama Rao, Vice Chancellor, BRAOU and Prof C.Venkataiah, Registrar, Dr G.Laxma reddy and other Officials from the University visited the examination centres in Mahaboobnagar District. Dr P.Venu gopal reddy, Public Relations Officer Visited Central Prison Cherlapally, where the Jail inmates appeared for the test.

Sri M.R.Bhasker, Superintendent Of Jails, Central Prison Cherlapally, Chinthala Dasharatham Deputy Superintendent of Prisons, Dev lal Naik, Jailor, Prashanth, tutor were participated in the examinations process.

The successful Candidates in the E.T. will be given Admission into B.A./B.COM/B.Sc. Courses for the Academi Year 2018-19 at BRAOU.
