Hyderabad: The administration of famous fish medicine by Bathini Goud family began at Exhibition Grounds in Nampally here on Friday.
Animal Husbandry Minister Talasni Srinivas Yadav formally launched the programme where thousands of patients from across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Kerela, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi were administered fish medicine.
The Fisheries Department has made arrangements for 60,000 Murrel fishes on the first day. A total of 40 counters including two mobile counters and two VIP counters were set up at the venue.
As many as 133 special RTC buses operated from MGBS, Jubilee Bus Station, Nampally, Secunderabad and Kachiguda Railway Stations and RGIA at Shamshabad for the convenience of the patients. (INN)
