Hyderabad: Commissioner of Hyderabad Police Mr. Anjani Kumar requested the Haj pilgrims from the State to pray for maintaining peace, tranquility and composite culture of Hyderabad city.
Addressing the Haj pilgrims of 12th batch he said that they should pay attention of discipline, cleanliness and on prayers. They should also keep all the ID related documents with them during this journey.
Mr. Mohammed Masiullah Khan Chairman State Haj Committee said that the pilgrims are guests of Allah and serving them is an honour for him. Mr. Mohammed Saleem MLC Chairman TS Waqf Board advised the pilgrims to keep aloof from WhatsApp, Facebook and selfies.
Special Officer Haj Committee Prof. S. A. Shukoor said that the TS Haj Committee also makes arrangements for departure of Haj pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
Chairman Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation Mr. Akber Hussain, Director Minorities Welfare Department Mr. Shahnawaz Qasim, , DCP Central Zone Mr. Vishwa Prasad, DCP Traffic Mr. Babu Rao, Addl. DCP Traffic Mr. Mohammed Tajuddin besides Members of the Telangana State Haj Committee Mr. Arif Ahmed, Mr. Mohammed Amjad Ali @Abu Talha Amjad, Mr. Mohammed Imtiaz Khan, Mr. Mohammed Arifuddin and others police officers were present on this occasion.
So far 3,600 pilgrims from Hyderabad have reached the sacred destination the Makkah.
In view of Bandh call today, the RTC buses were sent from haj Hosue Nampally Hyderabad to Haj Terminal of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad under Police escort.
