Hyderabad: As part of nationwide Pension Adalat, Telangana Chief Secretary Dr. S.K. Joshi, as head of the General Administration Department which process the Pensions of All India service Officers, conducted Pension Adalat in the conference Hall 4th Floor, C-Block on Tuesday.
Principal Secretaries Adhar Sinha (Political-GAD) and N. Siva Sankar (Finance), officials of Finance Department, 0/0 PrI.A.G. (A&E), Pension Payment Office, Pay and Accounts Office, and other Official from the concerned departments have participated in the Adalat.
The meeting has informed that there are 635 AIS pensioners/service/family pensioners are drawing pension. Out of them, 335 IAS, 183, IPS and 117 IFS pension cases are verified and found that the 7th C.P.C.
which came into effect w.e.f. 1.1.2016 and the revision of pension has been authorised by the concerned officers in respect of 317 IAS, 166 IPS, and 109 IFS. The remaining cases of 12 IAS, 10 IPS and 7 IFS are being processed by A.G. office for revision of pension by end of month.
The Chief Secretary requested the concerned officials of A.G. and PPO to resolve the remaining issues within a period of one week and inform the same to the General Administration Department.
A web portal dedicated to AIS pensioners prepared by CGG in coordination with above departments was launched to provide online service to pensioners about release of pension and other related matters such as medical reimbursement, ID card etc.,
