Hyderabad: TPCC Manifesto Committee chairman and former Deputy CM Damodara Rajanarasimha on Saturday announced that the Congress party, if voted to power in next elections, would provide one lakh jobs within 100 days after coming to power.
Speaking to media persons after the meeting of Manifesto Committee at Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday, Rajanarasimha said that the next Congress Government would fill 80,000 vacancies in various government departments and conduct a Mega DSC to fill 20,000 posts of teachers.
He said that the Committee was also taking the views of various stakeholders to prepare a people’s manifesto. He said eight sub-committees have been formed with each handling a set of issues to be included in the manifesto. He said that the committee was likely to complete its work by October 10.
Except for ex-MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, all other members attended the meeting. (INN)
