KTR addresses Gujarati Samaj Members in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Caretaker Minister K. Tarakarama Rao addressed Gujarati Samaj members who joined the TRS party at Telangana Bhavan on Sunday.

Speaking in the meeting, KTR said that the Telangana government has ensured all sections of the society were taken care of. “When Telangana state was formed and TRS came to power, many rumors were making rounds. However, we have dispelled all of them.

Safety of the citizens has been one of our top priority. We made sure no untoward incident took place,” said KTR.

Talking about the law and order situation in the state, KTR recalled how curfew was imposed in Hyderabad during Congress and TDP government. “In last four years during TRS rule, not a single curfew was imposed in twin cities,” he said.

“The country is looking at Telangana as a role model state when it comes to the safety of citizens,” said Minister. He also stated that Chief Minister KCR has given top priority to law and order in the state.

“About five lakh CCTV cameras have been fixed in the city and five lakh more CCTVs would be installed soon,” said KTR. He also said that the Command Control Centre in Hyderabad is a one of its kind in India.

Minister mentioned that the government started drinking water reservoir construction keeping the future needs of Hyderabad in mind. The plan, he said, is to store enough drinking water for the people of Hyderabad, even during drought situations.

Minister highlighted the state’s unique industrial policy and said that the government has provided close to 8,000 industrial clearances and successfully generated five lakh employment opportunities in the state. He also stated that Telangana is ranked top in Ease of Doing Business in the country.

He sought the support of the Gujarati Samaj members who attended the meeting and assured them that every promise made by CM KCR will be fulfilled. (INN)
