Both BJP and TRS cheated on Muslim reservations: Sravan

Hyderabad: Former Union Minister Ibrahim and All India Mahila Congress General Secretary Shamina Shafiq attended the election rally in support to Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Election Campaign Committee Convenor and Khairtabad candidate Dr. Sravan Dasoju held at Shergate, KingKoti of Khairatabad Constituency.

Addressing the meeting the Ex Union Minister Ibrahim and Mahila Congress leader slammed TRS and KCR for cheating Muslims on 12% Muslim reservations.

Dr. Sravan claimed that both the BJP and TRS were hand in glove and not committed to give Muslim reservations. He also reminded that at one end BJP’s Amit Shah says BJP is against to religious reservations and at other end TRS claims to get BJP’s nod for 12% reservations bill.

He also reminded how TRS government failed to keep up its promise of retrieving walkf board lands from the clutches of grabbers.

He also claimed that BJP is trying to create rift amongst Muslims and Hindus for political advantage. He also slammed BJP for allegedly beating up Muslims in the name of Caste, Creed and Religion.

The Congress leader also reminded that it is the effort of erstwhile congress government to provide 4% reservations to Muslims. But unfortunately TRS is making deliberate attempts to dilute the 4% bill.

In the last four-and-half years only 44% of funds were spent for Muslim welfare and no fee reimbursement funds were released. He also claimed TRS is using Shadi Mubarak scheme only for mere publicity.

He also slammed Owaisi, who claims himself as a Muslim Representative but has not done anything for the upliftment of the community. He also alleged TRS’s covert patching with religious BJP and MIM.

He reminded that it is the congress government who worked for the welfare of Muslims and criticized TRS, MIM and BJP trio are using Muslim Minorities as mere vote banks.

Sravan appealed the Muslims community to defeat TRS, BJP and MIM in the coming polls on 7th December, 2018. Senior Congress leader Rohin Reddy, TPCC Secretary Kasba Srinivas Rao and others were present. (INN)
