Unions of teachers and govt. employees plan Maha Dharna on June 30

Hyderabad, INN: The unions of teachers and other government employees have demanded that the Telangana Government immediately clear the PRC arrears pending since JUne 2014.

The demand was made during the meeting of 24 leading unions which met at the office of United Teachers Federation at Domalguda on Sunday.

The unions have decided to form a Joint Action Committee to bring all government employees, including the teachers on one platform.

They have also decided to organise a Maha Dharna at Indira Park on June 30 to press for their demands.

The employees’ unions have also alleged that the Health Cards issued to them were not being accepted by all corporate hospitals.

They asked the State Government to take steps to ensure that the Health Cards are accepted in all hospitals across the Telangana State.
