PFI Distributes Scholarships to MANUU Students

The Popular Front of India (PFI) awarded scholarships to outstanding academic performers in Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU).

Inaugurating the scholarship distribution program, National Vice Chairman of PFI O.M.A Salam said that the initiative was intended to uplift financial deserving students who perform well in academics.

The scholarships were given to more than hundred students in the Hyderabad campus of MANUU after thorough scrutiny of applications and personal interviews with the candidates, he informed.

“PFI provides scholarships for students pursuing PG, UG, Diploma courses every year. And the priority is given to students studying Journalism, Law and Social work, National Committee member of Campus Front of India Karimul Bari told Hyderabad Youth Mirror.

The program was conducted in the office Student Union of MANUU with cooperation from the campus authorities, he said.

PFI began scholarship distribution initiative in the academic year 2011-12 at the national level.

According to Salam, so far 6.4 Crore rupees worth of scholarships have been distributed in 13 Indian states to 7366 students, including 4114 boys and 3252 girls.
