Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner and Hyderabad District Electoral Officer Dana Kishore said that the final list of electoral Rolls would be published on February 22.
He was addressing a meeting with the representatives of various political parties in the GHMC Head Office here today.
Giving the status of Claims and Objections received & disposed, the DEO said applications received from form 6 – 1,74,966, form 6A-487, form 7- 1455, form 8 – 10371, form8A – 2074 and enquiry has been done on all applications. Out of 3,13,446 applications 2,89,837 were disposed and 20,294 were rejected and 23,609 were pending and data would be completed by Monday.
The DEO informed that in view Lok Sabha elections, first level checking of EVMs would be taken up from Monday at Victory Indoor Stadium under supervision of 3 Nodal Officers along with Bharath Electronics Limited staff and the political parties are also invited in this regard. (INN)
