87 inter second year students booked for malpractice

Hyderabad: As many as 87 intermediate second year students were booked for malpractice during the conduct of Chemistry, Commerce, Sociology, Fine Arts & Music – II by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education across Telangana State on Wednesday.

Of 87 cases of malpractice, as many as 50 cases were booked in Ranga Reddy district alone followed by 21 in Nirmal, 9 in Nalgonda, 2 each in Warangal (Urban), Medak and Yadadri and one case in Vikarabad district.

Of 416,447 registered candidates, as many as 397,889 appeared for the exams while 18,558 or 4.46% abstained.

Observers were sent from Board to Nirmal, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Ranga Reddy, Yadadri and Vikarabad districts. (INN)
