Chandrasekhar assumes charge as NI-MSME Director

Hyderabad: D. Chandra Sekhar has taken over Additional charge as the Director of the National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Yousufguda here on Friday.

Sekhar is the Additional Industrial Adviser at MSME Development Institute, Ministry of MSME (GoI), Hyderabad and also holds charge as Principal Director of MSME TR (CITD). He holds a B.Tech & M.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering from Osmania University, MBA from JNTU and LLB from Osmania University, Sekhar has over 24 years of experience in the field of Promotion and Development of MSME’s.

He has immensely contributed to various promotional activities of MSME sector in Chemical, Food and allied industries. He served as Addl. Industrial Adviser, in the office of Development Commissioner (MSME), New Delhi and earlier as Director in Karnataka and Gujarat.

Prior to joining Government, he worked as Plant Engineer in M/s Hindustan Fluoro Carbons Ltd., Hyderabad during 1989 to 19195 and as a Deputy Marketing Manager for M/s State Trading Corporation of India Limited, Hyderabad during 1995-96. (INN)
