Home Minister pats officials for peaceful completion of Ganesh festival

Hyderabad: Home Minister Mahmood Ali has appreciated the services rendered by police force to ensure peaceful conduct of Ganesh festival in Telangana State, especially Hyderabad.

“Police have made elaborate arrangements for Bandobust and Security in a systematic and planned way for the Festival and Ganesh Immersion. This Festival is celebrated in Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda Commissionerate areas in a large scale and other cities and towns in Telangana State.

The Police Officers and all the Police Staff have attended to the hectic duties day and night in coordination with other departments and ensured that the Festival and Ganesh Immersion is celebrated in peaceful way,” the Home Minister said in his message.

The Home Minister said that all the People of Telangana, particularly of Hyderabad and surrounding areas have once again proved that they were peace loving and celebrated the festival in communal harmony although 9th and 10th Days of Mohurram fell during the Ganesh Navaratris.

Organizers of Ganesh Pandals, Ganesh Utsava Committee Members have cooperated with the Police and other departments for peaceful completion of Ganesh Festival and Immersion. Around 50,000 idols immersed in the entire state.

“Government of Telangana, since its formation, under the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is celebrating several festivals, officially and progressing fast in developmental and welfare activities,” he said.

Mahmood Ali appreciated the DGP, CPs., Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda and all the higher Police Officials & Personnel and officers and staff of other departments who have involved in making excellent arrangements for peaceful and successful completion of Ganesh Navaratris and Immersion. (INN)
