Hyderabad: GHMC Mayor Dr. Bonthu Rammohan inaugurated the Children’s park Near Jayabheri Enclave, Gachibowli here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor said that the park has been developed at a cost of Rs. 40 lakhs. He said it was first of its kind where the ground surface is with Trufed carpet, which protects from being hurt.
Lok Sabha MP Ranjit Reddy, Corporator Nagender Yadav and Zonal Commissioner Harichandana and other senior officials attended the programme.
The Silent features include the Dog Park’s Play area is an unique offering of fun, play and adventure for children along with safety spread over 7000 sft. According to GHMC, the visitors will love this park for its unique offering of structured and unstructured play.
Kids will find it as a perfect avenue for game of hide and seek, climbing/scaling Mounds, tunneling, hopping, sliding, balancing, etc. EPDM is a synthetic rubber that prevents kid injuries from falls and accidents.
This park offers contemporary play equipment along with natural unstructured setting of plants, mounds, tunnels and stones, while promoting fruits and vegetables. Park offers seamless integration of grass and EPDM that mimics natural environment for play. (INN)
