Hyderabad: The budget session of Telangana State Legislative Assembly and Council will begin from March 6. A notification in this regard has been issued on Saturday.
According to sources, the State Cabinet will meet on March 5 to approve the budget for the financial year 2020-21. Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan will address the joint session of Assembly and Council on March 6.
The Legislature will take up Motion of Thanks on Governor’s Address on March 7.
Finance Minister T. Harish Rao will present the budget in Assembly on March 8. The budget session is likely to continue till March 23. (INN)
