29 inter first year candidates booked for malpractice

Hyderabad: As many as 29 intermediate first year students were booked for malpractice in the Mathematics-IB, Zoology Papers-I and History Paper-I exams conducted by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education on Thursday.

Of 29, as five candidates were booked each in Suryapet and Hyderabad, followed by 4 in Peddapalli; 3 each in Khammam and Nizamabad and one each in Nirmal, Karimnagar, Jagtial, Warangal Rural, Bhadradri, Medak, Sanga Reddy, Wanaparthy and Ranga Reddy districts.

Of 402,921 registered candidates, a total of 386,664 appeared for the exams while 16,257 or 4.03% abstained. (INN)
