Governor holds video conference with Registrars of all universities

Hyderabad: Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan reviewed with all the Registrars of State Universities in the Telangana about the conducting of online classes through video conference held on Friday.

The Registrars of all Universities in the Telangana State have stated that they are conducting online classes at around 70% to 80% are the students are attending online classes and the remaining students could not able to attending due to connectivity problems as they are living in Rural and Remote areas.

Around 80% to 90% of the syllabus for PG students and 70% to 80% syllabus for UG courses have been completed.

They have directed appointed NSS Programmers and volunteers to attend this pandemic situation by providing the Masks and other amenities to the needy people in this COVID-19 situation.

While appreciating the efforts of the Universities in conducting online classes to the students, the Governor of Telangana advised to conduct some competitions to bring out the innovative ideas in this very critical situation from the fertile minds of the students.

She also advised to instruct all the students to download the Aarogya Setu App for keeping safe. (INN)
