Minister Srinivas Yadav inspects Panjagutta Steel Bridge works

Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, along with GHMC Mayor Dr. Bonthu Rammohan, MLC M.S. Prabhakar Rao and MLA Danam Nagender, inspected the Panjagutta Steel Bridge works and grave yard here on Saturday.

The Minister assured to Gangaputra community people that an alternative land would be allotted to the grave yard, as the Steel Bridge was being constructed on some portion of the grave yard.

The State Government has sanctioned the construction of Steel Bridge and road widening in two ways at Panjagutta grave yard at an estimated cost of Rs. 23 crores under SRDP. The work is going on at brisk pace during the lock down period since there is no traffic problem. The work will be completed in a month.

They also visited Road strengthening works taken in Road No. 2, Banjara Hills.

Later, the Minister, along with Musheerabad MLA Muta Gopal and Animal Husbandry Director Laxma Reddy inaugurated blood donation camp organized by Veterinary Department on the occasion of World Veterinary Day at Red Cross Building in Vidyanagar here today.

The Veterinary Officials organized blood donation camps in the entire State in response to the government appeal to donate blood to fulfill the needs of Thalassemia and dialysis patients due to lockdown situation. (INN)
