Hyderabad: The Osmania University on Thursday announced the schedule for final phase of online UG admissions 2016-17.
Registrations and Web Options for those who did not register in DOST so far will be done from 25th to 30th July. Web option for Phase-I and Phase-II registered candidates will also be done during the same period. The allotment of seat will be done on 2nd August while the candidates will be reporting to colleges from 2nd to 4th August.
The students who did not register in DOST in Phase-I and Phase-II and those who registered but did not exercise their web options can avail this final phase of web options. The candidates who have not been allotted any seat in Phase-I and Phase-II can also utilize this opportunity.
The candidates who have been allotted seats in Phase-I and Phase-II are also eligible to exercise web options for a better college. In case if the student would like to opt for a better college and gets a seat in final phase, the earlier allotted seat will be cancelled.
The candidates who got a seat in the second phase and have not reported to the college can also exercise web options in the final phase.
Necessary arrangements are being made for certificate verification of other Boards and Special Category candidates. The Centre for Good Governance (CGG) will send SMS to such category students, according to an OU press release. (INN)
