Hyderabad: The Telangana Government on Wednesday announced the cancellation of intermediate second-year examinations.
Education Minister P. Sabitha Indra Reddy officially announced the cancellation of exams and said that this decision was made in view of Covid-19 situation and the health of students in mind. She said that a majority of students and their parents were in favour of cancellation of exams.
She informed that a committee of senior officials has been formed to formulate the modalities for declaring the results. Based on the committees’ recommendation, the results for second year intermediate examinations will be announced, she said.It may be mentioned that the exams were to be held from 1st May to 19th May and the practical assessments were scheduled between May 29 and June 7.
