CM KCR pays rich tributes to C. Narayana Reddy

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has paid rich tributes to Jnana Peeth Awardee; well know poet, critic, scholar and lyricist Dr C Narayan Reddy (Cingireddy Narayana Reddy a.k.a Cinare) on his death anniversary.

The Chief Minister credited Dr Narayan Reddy with spreading the Telangana literary fragrance all over the world and putting Telugu poetry on a top pedestal. He described Dr Narayan Reddy as a pioneer who excelled as a poet, writer, researcher, educationist, film lyricist and who in his inimitable style used Telangana idiom and continued his literary pursuits with creative power. He hailed Cinare as the one who got Jnana Peeth Award to Telangana and understood the human and nature philosophy threadbare. He said Cinare became a symbol for the Ganga Jamuna Tehjeeb with his innovative creation of Telugu Ghazals with Telugu and Urdu languages jugalbandi.”The efforts put in by Cinare to put Telugu and Telangana on the World literary Map is eternal. As long as language and literature exist, Cinare will continue to live,” CM KCR said. (INN)
