Hyderabad:Â Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has performed the inaugural puja at the famous Khairatabad Ganesh Pandal, here, on Friday.
She said it was a divine blessing and honour to perform puja to the 40ft tall Ganesha idol at the famous Khairatabad Ganesha Pandal.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor extended Ganesh Chaturthi wishes to all the people of the State. She urged the people, those who are yet to get vaccinated, to take the COVID vaccine on a priority basis.
The Governor stated that the vaccination is the only way to get permanently protected, while adhering to Covid-19 preventive norms.
Dr. Soundararajan appreciated the efforts of Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, MLA Danam Nagender, Corporator Vijaya Reddy and the Khairatabad Ganesha Pandal Committee for their efforts.Governor of Haryana Bandaru Dattatreya and Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan’s family members joined the Governor at the puja.
