Intermediate first-year exams begin in Telangana

Hyderabad: More than 93% students of first-year students appeared for the Intermediate Public Examination 2021 which began on Tuesday.

According to the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education, the 1st Year students appeared for English Paper – I at 1,768 examination centres across the State today. Of 459,240 registered candidates, as many as 430,563 were present while 28,677 or 6.2% were absent. No case of malpractice was booked.

Observers from Board were sent to Suryapet, Mahabubnagar, Jangaon, Medak, Kamareddy and Ranga Reddy districts from the Board to the examination centres and found smooth and peaceful conduct of exams without any untoward incidents.

Principal Secretary (Education) Sandeep Kumar Sultania and TSBIE Secretary Omer Jaleel inspected the examination centre at Maharshi Veda Vignana College in Hyderabad. (INN)
