Hyderabad: Telangana State Legislative Council Secretary Dr. V. Narasimha Charyulu on Saturday issued the notification and schedule for the election of the Chairman of the Legislative Council.
According to the election schedule, nominations will be received on March 13 (Sunday) from 10:30 am to 5 pm at the Secretary’s office in the Legislative Secretariat premises. The election of the Chairman will be held on the 14th of this month (Monday) at 11 am in the Telangana Legislative Council meeting. However, with the TRS party having absolute majority in the Council, the election of the Chairman is likely to be unanimous. (INN)
