OU VC launches TechnOsmani 2022, asks students to come with fresh ideas

Hyderabad: Osmania University Vice Chancellor Prof Dandeboina Ravinder called on students to come forward with fresh ideas and innovations. 

He launched the TechnOsmania 2022 program, organized by the University College of Technology on the campus.  “We place the highest priority on alumni participation in university development, not just fundraising, but to share their knowledge with today’s students.  Entrepreneurs who have studied here and climbed high peaks, scientists in various fields, economists and sociologists are urged to take part in the development of OU” he shared. The university has adopted the slogan ‘Reform, Performance, Transform’ , he added.

“The students must share the ideas with the varsity which would then help in scaling them up to innovative contemporary solutions.  As the culture, tradition and food patterns of Telangana festivals are imbued, Osmania students’ festivals are directed to be a platform for new ideas and innovations,” he said. 

Rajahmundry Reddy, General Secretary, OU Technology Alumni Association, said that such festivals would contribute to a holistic understanding of Telangana culture and society among the students. 

Arvind Kumar, CEO of Bhagiratha Chemical Industries, shared that students have wonderful opportunities in the chemical industry.  Students are advised to develop the skills required for the industries.

Prof. Chinta Sailu, Principal, College of Technology, said that every student should prove himself.  Many alumni, college faculty, and alumni participated in the event. (INN)
