Hyderabad: Dr BR Ambedkar Universal University has received three prestigious ISO certificates for providing quality services and maintaining quality standards in the field of higher education. ISO – 50001: 2018 in the category of Energy Standards, ISO 14001 : 2015 for Environmental & Green Audit, ISO 9001 : 2015 Certificates in the Department of Management and Quality Standards for providing quality higher education services.
Alapati Sivaiah, Director, HYM International Certifications presented to Prof. Seetharama Rao, Vice-Chancellor on Tuesday at the university. The certification team visited the university and considered several factors. These include academic, administrative, audit, environmental & green audit and management aspects studied.
Sivaiah stated that these certificates have been given keeping in mind the various programs organized by the university. National and International Symposia, National Workshops, Commemorative Lectures, Foundation Day Lectures, Meetings with Alumni, Contact cum Counseling Classes, Effective Conduct of Online Classes, On-Screen Assessment, Services to Learners, Fully Equipped Science Laboratories, Research, Infrastructure and Internship for Students. Similarly, Sivaiah revealed that these certificates were awarded after finding high standards in teaching and evaluation, teacher performance, achievements, teaching planning programs, curriculum, material quality and social aspects like waste management, greening, compost bed, watershed management.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Seetharama Rao said that the BRAOU was the first open university in India established in the year 1982. He reminded that we will be at the forefront in providing quality and services to the students and in the coming days the employees need to work with more sincerity.On the occasion, Prof.E.Sudha Rani, Director Academic, Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Director CSTD, Dr.A.V.N.Reddy, Registrar, Prof.P.Madhusudan Reddy, Director GRADE & CIQA, Lakshmi Prasad, University Engineer, and all the Directors, Heads of the Branches, Deans, participated in the program.
