Hyderabad: Telangana Government will establish a disabled, old age and transgender development department in the state.
Gazette notification and detailed orders for the same are likely to be issued in a day or two. December 3 is celebrated as World Day for Disabled Persons and the said order is expected in this regard.It is to be noted that the portfolio of Disabled Persons’ development was demerged from the Women and Child Welfare Department long ago.
