Hyderabad: TRS MP J Santosh said that it was the success of the ‘Green India Challenge’ that each one of us were thinking of planting a tree no matter what the occasion would be.
Santosh said that many Indians living in other countries were also inspired by this challenge. He said that working with perseverance for the goals was the reason for success of Green India Challenge.
He participated in a plantation on Wednesday on the occasion of his birthday at Forest College & Research Institute (FCRI) along with students and youth. He said that it was a pleasure to celebrate birthday by planting plantlets along with hundreds of students.He said that the Haritha Haram program was launched by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao to enhance the green cover across the state exponentially. He further said that Green India Challenge expanded to all the states in the country today during five years. (INN)
