CM KCR vision turned Telangana green: Jagadish Reddy

Hyderabad: Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy said that the state would not have gained the green cover had the Chief Minister KCR not introduced plantation drive.

He participated in plantation drive near Devarakonda road in Nalgonda as part of Mega Plantation of 1 lakh plants on Monday.

Jagadish Reddy said that the people were forced to purchase Oxygen for living and many cities in India were also seeing this situation. He said that the environment in the state would have been badly damaged had the vision of CM KCR not been there.He said that if we want 100 percent Oxygen, then each person should plant at least six plants. He said that in some countries a person can marry only when he participates in a plantation. He advised the people to plant trees and give a safe environment for the future generations. He informed that about 15 lakh trees have been planted across the Nalgonda district so far. (INN)
