Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that the government was taking up special programmes every year to ensure that poor people could also celebrate the festivals happily.
He interacted with the representatives of Churches in Sanatnagar on Saturday.He said that a special plan of action will be designed to develop the churches and graveyards in the city. He said that the government was providing special gifts as part of Christmas every year and arranging a dinner for the Christian brethren. He reminded that the government had sanctioned Rs 10 crores for the construction of Christian Bhavan in Uppal Bagayat recently. (INN)
