Hyderabad: Health Minister T Harish Rao said that many reforms have been taken up in the health department after the formation of Telangana.
Harish Rao inaugurated a 30-bedded hospital, built with a cost of Rs 5 crore, in Kaghazanagar on Thursday.
Speaking on this occasion he said that government hospitals were providing advanced medical care in the state. He said that medical colleges were established in Mancherial, Nirmal and Asifabad which were part of the united Adilabad district. He said that earlier there were only 3 dialysis centres which were increased to 102 today. He assured that a dialysis centre would be established in Kaghaznagar also.The Minister said that KCR Nutrition Kits have been provided to pregnant women to improve normal deliveries. He said that the union government was emulating the Telangana government welfare schemes. He informed that very soon there would be a notification for 950 doctors in the state. (INN)
