Hyderabad: Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy said that the government would train the students in such a way that they can excel at the global level. She said that many welfare schemes were being implemented for the educational and economic empowerment of women in the state.
The Minister was the chief guest at the scholarship cheques distribution program organized by Malabar Charitable Trust at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in the city on Tuesday.Sabitha Reddy said that it was appreciable that the Malabar Institute had provided a huge amount under scholarships for the education of girls. She said that in the past, parents were against girls’ education, but today, girls have been excelling and left the boys behind in education. She wished that every student who got the scholarship would complete their higher studies and rise to the level of helping their peers. (INN)
