TS Govt has developed 26,000 schools in Telangana: Sabitha Reddy

Hyderabad: Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao was paying special attention to students studying in government schools.

The Minister inaugurated the additional classrooms of the newly constructed primary school in Tol Katta of Moinabad Mandal on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that Telangana was the only state which provides quality food along with education in Residential Institutions and welfare schools. She said that 26,000 schools have been developed through Mana Uru Mana Badi in the state by spending Rs 7500 crores.Sabitha Reddy revealed that the English medium of instruction would start in all government schools this year. The minister asked the Telangana NRIs to contribute some of their earnings for the development of the schools they studied in. MLC Surabhivani, MLA Kale Yadayah, ZPTC Srikanth and MPP Nakshatra participated in this programme. (INN)
