Hyderabad: The budget session of the Telangana Legislative Assembly and Council would begin on February 3.
On this occasion, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is holding discussions on the budget meetings. Finance Minister Harish Rao, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prashanth Reddy and other officials attended the meeting. KCR was likely to finalise the dates of the budget meetings along with the Governor’s Address.The session of the Legislative Assembly will begin on the 3rd at 12:10 PM and if the Chief Minister decides to skip the Governor’s customary address to the joint session of the Assembly and Council, there is a possibility of introducing the budget on the opening day. The budget for 2023-25 is likely to be between Rs.2.85 lakh crore and Rs.3 lakh crore. (INN)
