Hyderabad: TNGO President Mamilla Rajender and General Secretary R Pratap expressed their gratitude to Finance Minister Harish Rao and Finance Department’S Special Principal Secretary Ramakrishna Rao for the implementation of Cashless Health Scheme (EHS) with one per cent contribution for the State Government employees.
They said that the TNGOs had demanded the introduction of a cashless medical system with a one per cent subscription for the employees, teachers and pensioners. This demand was pending for a long time.
On this occasion, Harish Rao said that the guidelines would be released immediately for the successful implementation of the new EHS scheme.It may be mentioned that Finance Minister Harish Rao, in his budget speech on Monday, had announced providing health security to 6.50 lakh employees and pensioner families.
