Hyderabad: The crescent of Sha’ban, the eighth month of the Islamic calendar, has been sighted and the Shab-e-Baraat, the second holy night for Muslims, will be celebrated on March 7.
The Central Ruiyat-e-Hilal Committee, which met here on Tuesday, announced that the holy month of Sha’ban has commenced as the crescent was sighted on Tuesday evening. (INN)
