KCR condemns the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao strongly condemned the disqualification of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi.

KCR said that Prime Minister Modi’s rule had surpassed the Emergency. KCR expressed deep anger that Modi was bringing downfall by disqualifying opposition leaders for criminals and liars. KCR released a statement on Rahul’s disqualification.

The statement of CM read ‘Today is a dark day in the history of Indian democracy. Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification from Parliament is the pinnacle of Narendra Modi’s arrogance and dictatorship. It is condemnable that the Modi government is not only abusing constitutional institutions but also using the highest democratic platform, the Parliament, for its heinous activities. Democracy has a long history of constitutional values. Modi’s regime is going beyond emergency. Harassment of opposition leaders has become routine. Modi is bringing downfall by disqualifying opposition leaders as criminals and liars. This is not the case for conflicts between parties.’All the democrats should openly condemn the misdeeds of the BJP government in order to preserve the democracy and constitutional values in the country, he said. (INN)
