Proud to provide food to the producers: Gangula Kamalakar

Hyderabad: Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar expressed his gratitude and honour for being able to provide meals to farmers at procurement centres in Karimnagar.

The minister had personally funded the mid-day meal scheme to ensure that the hardworking farmers who come to sell their crops do not go hungry. The scheme was launched on Saturday and the minister praised the staff for their efforts in providing food to the farmers.

During his speech, Kamalakar highlighted the challenges faced during the Seemandhra rule and praised the current Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for the changes that have been implemented. He specifically mentioned the success of the Kaleshwaram irrigation project, which has resulted in increased irrigation and the cultivation of barren lands.Kamalakar also accused political parties in Delhi of spreading misinformation about Telangana’s success and attempting to rob the state of its resources. He credited CM KCR for fighting against these external threats and serving as a protector of Telangana’s interests. The procurement centres have been set up to purchase every grain harvested, ensuring that farmers are able to sell their crops with ease. (INN)
