KTR tours across the Mulugu district

Hyderabad: Municipal Administration, IT Minister K T Rama Rao toured Mulugu district on Wednesday participating in various developmental activities. As part of the state formation decade celebrations, the foundation stone was laid for several development works undertaken with Rs.150 crores.

Ministers Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Satyavati Rathore welcomed KTR who arrived at Mulugu Government Degree College in a helicopter along with Minister Mahmood Ali. The foundation stone was laid for the integrated Collectorate building complex near the degree college and the district police office building to be constructed next to it at a cost of Rs.38.50 crore. Foundation stones were also laid for government office buildings, model bus stand complexes and the Sevalal building. Chief Whip Vinay Bhaskar, MLCs Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, Pochampalli Srinivas Reddy, MP Kavitha, MLA Seethakka and others participated in this program.After that, they reached Ramappa Temple from the Mulugu district centre and offered a special pooja to Lord Rudreswara. Reaching the Ramappa pond embankment, as part of Telangana formation decade celebrations, they started the irrigation festival and participated in the special programs organized there. After reaching the district centre, they laid the foundation stone for the digital library to be built at the cost of Rs.30 lakhs on the premises of the Mulugu Gram Panchayat office, the meeting hall of the Information and Civil Relations Department to be built at a cost of Rs.15 lakhs, and the CC roads built at the cost of Rs.2 crores in the district centre. (INN)
