Telangana gets three National Water Awards

Hyderabad: Gram Panchayats in the state have received many national awards in the past, and recently, the state was honoured with three awards in the fourth National Water Awards by the Jal Shakti Ministry.

Jagannadhapuram village panchayat in Bhadradri Kothagudem district won the top national award for their outstanding work in water management. Adilabad secured the third position in the best district category, recognizing their efforts in conserving water. Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) received second position in the best institutions category for their significant contributions.These awards will be presented by the Vice President in Delhi on June 17. It’s worth noting that the award ceremony coincides with Rural Development Day, which is part of the Telangana Decade celebrations, adding to the significance of the event. (INN)
