Rains to continue for four more days in Telangana State

yderabad: Hyderabad Meteorological Center has warned that heavy rains will continue in Telangana for the next four days.

According to the Meteorological Department, low pressure is likely to form in the North West Bay of Bengal and the West Central Bay of Bengal near South Odisha, North Andhra on July 24. Due to this, the rains will continue for four days. From Saturday to Sunday morning, heavy rains are likely to occur here and there in Kothagudem and Nizamabad districts along with Adilabad, Karimnagar and Warangal districts.

It said that there are chances of rain in many places with thunder, lightning, and gusty winds at a speed of 30-40 km per hour. Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Janagam, Siddipet and Vikarabad districts will receive heavy rains from Sunday to Monday, it said. Mulugu, Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahbubabad, Siddipet, Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, and Nagar Kurnool districts are likely to receive heavy rains from Monday to Tuesday, it said.Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, and Mahabubabad are likely to experience heavy rains from Tuesday to Wednesday, it said. The Department of Meteorology explained that there are chances of heavy rains in Kothagudem, Bhuvanagiri, Ranga Reddy, Medchal, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, and Nagar Kurnool districts, at the same time there are chances of thunder, lightning and gusty winds of 30-40 km per hour at many places. To this extent, a yellow alert has been issued to the respective districts. (INN)
