Hyderabad: Finance Minister Harish Rao has praised Chief Minister KCR for fulfilling the aspirations of Adivasis and making the slogan of ‘Jal-Jungal-Zameen’ given by the Kumrambhim, a reality. He said that the livelihoods of Adivasis have been enhanced under the guidance and leadership of KCR.
Harish Rao was speaking on the occasion of World Adivasi Day. He said that KCR has established a separate tribal ministry and allocated Rs 1,000 crore for the welfare of Adivasis. He said that KCR has also fulfilled the long-standing demand of Adivasis for their own governance in their Tanda.
He said that KCR has taken several measures to improve the lives of Adivasis, including providing them with housing, education, and healthcare facilities. He said that KCR has also given priority to the development of tribal areas.Harish Rao extended greetings to the Adivasis and Tribals on the occasion of World Adivasi Day. He said that the state government is committed to the welfare of Adivasis and will continue to take steps to improve their lives. (INN)
