Hyderabad: Information and Public Relations Commissioner of Telangana Ashok Reddy announced today that the 1982 Oscar-winning film “Gandhi” will be screened free of cost in 582 cinema screens across all districts of the state from August 14 to 24.
The film will be screened on August 14 from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM and from August 16 to 24 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM. The film will not be screened on August 15 and 20.
He said that the screening of the film was being organized to mark the end of India’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. He appealed to students and common people to watch the film in large numbers as it is being screened free of cost. (INN)
