Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has approved the establishment of a Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Engineering College in Adilabad. The college will be affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad and will offer undergraduate and postgraduate engineering courses.
The government has allocated Rs.100 crore for the establishment of the college. The college will be located in 100 acres of land in Adilabad. The college is expected to start functioning from the academic year 2023-2024. The first batch of students will be admitted to the B.Tech. program.The college will have a capacity of 1,000 students. The faculty members will be recruited from JNTU Hyderabad and other reputed institutions. (INN)
