RTC conductor’s honesty saves woman’s Dussehra

Hyderabad: A woman passenger was left overjoyed after an RTC bus conductor in Telangana returned her bag containing gold jewelry worth Rs 8 lakh.

The incident took place when the woman was traveling from Peddapalli to Jagtial in an RTC bus. When she reached Jagtial, she got off the bus without realizing that she had left her bag behind.

The bag containing the gold jewelry was noticed by the female conductor, Vani. Upon checking the bag, she found the passenger’s phone number and immediately contacted her.

The passenger was informed that her bag had been found and she rushed to the Jagtial depot to collect it. The bag was handed over to her in the presence of the depot manager.

The depot manager appreciated the honesty of conductor Vani and said that her actions were a testament to the commitment of RTC staff to providing safe and secure travel to passengers.The passenger, who was overwhelmed with joy, said that if her jewelry had not been found, her Dussehra festival would have been ruined. She thanked conductor Vani and driver Tirupati for their honesty. (INN)
