CM KCR offers prayers at Konaipally Venkateswara Swamy Temple

Siddipet: BRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao visited Konaipally Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Siddipet district on Saturday and offered prayers before filing his nomination papers for the upcoming Assembly elections.

Minister Harish Rao welcomed KCR on his arrival at the temple, and the priests greeted him with Purnakumbha on mangal instruments. KCR circumambulated the temple and visited Lord Venkateswara. He then received Vedasirvachan from the temple scholars.

KCR signed his nomination papers in the presence of Swami Venkanna. He has a tradition of visiting this temple and offering prayers before filing his nomination papers for every election.KCR will file his nomination papers for the Gajwel Assembly constituency on March 9. He will also participate in BRS Aashirvaad Sabha on the same day. (INN)
