Adani Group announces investments worth Rs 12,400 crore in Telangana

Hyderabad: Chief Minister of Telangana A. Revanth Reddy met with the Chairman of Adani Group Gautam Adani at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, along with Minister of ITE&C, Industries, and Legislative Affairs, D Sridhar Babu, and Chairman of Adani Group Gautam Adani, and President and CEO of Aerospace and Defence Ashish Rajvanshi, exchanged four MOUs with the state Government for investments amounting to the tune of Rs 12,400 crore that would be invested in Telangana over the next few years.

Adani Green Energy will invest Rs 5,000 Crores for setting up two Pumped Storage Projects in Telangana of 1350 MW Capacity. Similarly, the AdaniConneX Data Centers will invest Rs 5,000 Crores to set up a Data Center campus in Chandanvelly with a total capacity of 100 MW. Likewise, Ambuja Cements Ltd. will invest Rs 1,400 Crores in a Cement Grinding unit in Telangana with a capacity of 6.0 MTPA. Further, Adani Aerospace and Defence will invest Rs 1,000 Crores in Counter Drone Systems and Missile Development and Manufacturing Centres at the Adani Aerospace and Defence Park

Apart from the above investments, Adani Group has also agreed to support the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s goal of creating skilling Universities in Telangana.

Soon, Adani Group will develop an integrated state-of-the-art skilling university in Telangana and will share more details about it shortly.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has assured Adani that the State Government will provide the required amenities, infrastructure, and support for the projects.

The eagerness of Gautam Adani to explore various possibilities and harness our strength is a welcome signal that top-notch, conglomerates are eager to invest in Telangana. We have successfully shown to business world that Telangana Means Business.”Speaking after the signing, Gautam Adani, Chairman, of Adani Group, said, “The new Government in Telangana under the leadership of Revanth Reddy has been extremely investor friendly and with newly initiated policies, should attract more investments.
