Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose instructed the officials to speed up storm water drain works undertaken from Yakutpura, Maula Ka Chilla Ganganagar to Bhavani Nagar and also restoration works of Sardar Mahal building, Charminar.
The Commissioner, along with Hyderabad MP Sri Asaduddin Owaisi, inspected the SWD Nala works from Ganga Nagar to Bhavani Nagar, and the Commissioner instructed the officials to complete the works well before monsoon to avoid inundation in the city during the rainy season.
While on inspection at Moghalpura Sports Complex, upon noticing the various departments of GHMC in the sports complex building, the Commissioner directed the officials to identify suitable buildings for shifting the offices from the sports complex and also to take up repair works of the swimming pool.
Later, the Commissioner inspected the progress of renovation works of Sardar Mahal near Charminar and multilevel parking works at Charminar and directed to speed up the works.Charminar MLA Mir Zulfikar Ali and Yakutpura MLA Jaffer Hussain Meraj, MLC Mirza Rahmath Baig, GHMC Corporators and senior officials participated in the visit.
